Marshall is extremely versatile. He excelled in futurity events, showcasing his talent in reining maneuvers with smooth simple lead changes, precise spins, and deep sliding stops. He guides easily and shines in Ranch Riding and Versatility events. Safe and gentle for any rider, his smooth ride and naturally low head set ensure a pleasant experience every time. He remains extremely gentle, even with time off, and is consistent and reliable.

With hundreds of hours exploring Griffith Park, he is accustomed to and unfazed by helicopters, tents, shopping carts, drones, freeway rush hour, bridges and tunnels, haunted houses, marathons, bouncy castles, loud birthdays, bands, parties, music, large trucks, farm equipment, buses, and tractor trailers. He patiently stands for the farrier and vet, cross ties, crosses water, and trailers easily.
He also clips, stands to mount, crosses water, loads effortlessly, excels at ponying, and is a smooth and carefree bareback ride.
